No excuses
If there is one category in which entrepreneurs are invincible is in finding excuses for not doing something, when they do not have excuses, they need to find who is guilty or who to blame for. It is very useful to always have a good package of excuses to justify what something has not been done, in the absence of excuses it is good to have someone to blame. And the culprits are always outsiders, so there is nothing that can be done.
As in the nuclei there are always newcomers, those who have just joined a new nucleus and who still do not master the art of having good excuses, we have prepared a list of excuses to facilitate the work of the members of the nuclei and the counsellors. That will be best for everyone.
The first excuse is always lack of money. Could anyone imagine a better excuse? In these cases we could argue that good ideas are for free and that it is possible to do many things without money. But in that case we would leave the entrepreneur without one of his best arguments not to do. We could not do that.
Among other good excuses we often hear in the first meetings of the nuclei is the lack of time. When they begin to put the lack of ... is a never ending list. Lack of time, lack of ability, lack of courage, lack of rhythm, lack of discipline, lack of team, lack of knowledge, lack of clarity, lack of organization ...
Faced with this list of excuses and many others we hear in the day to day of nucleus meetings, there is no better solution than asking: What are you going to do to solve it? Because our core business in the Nucleus Approach is to focus in the solutions and not at the problems. Our focus is the actions to solve them and we can not accommodate ourselves with justifications.
So the solution is to always ask: How are we going to solve it? What can be done? Who knows what the solution is? Who has gone through this?
